Well goodbye 2009, hello 2010! It's so cool to say! 2010...2010! yo its 2010! *khem* anyway~~

2009 was a pretty eventful year with going to USA and SDCC. I really do wish I could go every year but I unless I find a well paying job I wont be able to make it. BUT I will be there 2011! So to all my US friends [and international]~ Please come along to SDCC 2011 so I can give you all a big huggles~

SO yeah~ Happy New Year to everyone~ lol I have some hopefully surprise costumes this year for you all, I'm going back to simple but not...'that' simple but I'm not doing any full armour things for awhile. Even though I love my Valkyries lol must...resist...gah! I'll be going back to a classic this year and also need to slot in a few outfits I want to get done. Like Aqua from KHBS both her armour and normal outfit. I'll make her this year just need to find a day. I look forward to that game since its given me hope that KH isnt completely dead to me. Since it died when the fans raped it >_< lol I only wish the game was going to PS3 rather then PSP. I want to watch it in hdmi! ;_; Is there anyway to get the PSP to work through the tv?

Oh! I forgot to mention what I got for Chrissie hahaha Well I got Zelda:Twilight Princess [finally] lol I already know the major storyline from when I cosplayed Zelda but its fun to finally be able to play the game for realz now. But playing the fire temple in Summertime is realllllly not nice X_X freaking lava everywhere makes the humidity of the room worse I also got a calander, diary and some clothes eyay~

Annnnyway~ I kind of left this page and went off somewhere and now I realised I need to post this hahaha I'll edit it later if I want to add anything lol Until next tiiime! Ciao for now

Well I just came back from watching the movie 'Avatar' by James Cameron [just so you dont get confused with the animated series] and I must say, it was one of the best movies I have watched for this year! As I expected from Mr. Cameron, he never disappoints~

I cannot get over the animation of the movie! It was so real that I couldnt even tell that it 'was' animation! And thats saying a lot coming from me who is a nitpick animation critique. Everything was just so beautiful~ Especially the environment~! It looked so real~

I cant go too into it too much because I dont want to spoil it for people but I highly recommend it to all scifi/fantasy fans! Watch it in 3D as well!! Though I really do wish the 3D glasses were better designed. I cant stand the weight of the current ones >_<

Yayyy~ I wanna see it again!

On other things~ lol That probably dont confuse the crap out of everyone I well..havent really been up to much..lol I'm aiming to finish the god damn artwork I've been working on for god knows how long. I blame the staircase and perspective! D:<

Alsooo I will be starting up my cosplays for next year soon~~ I just need to...sew up the ..hole in my wallet...that was burnt into it from all the B'days and Xmas presents I bought for this month....yeahhh this season is totally not cool on the wallet ;_;

OMG I JUST WATCHED TURTLES FOREVER AND IT WAS F**KING AWESOME!!!!!!!! Omg I cant get over it! Best idea for a series ever!! If you're a turtles fan and havnt seen it yet...GO WATCH IT NOW!

For those who are playing the home game.[The following is kind of spoilerish but I'm not giving away too much...I think] Turtles Forever is a mini-movie of the recent version of the Turtles meeting the 80's cartoon turtles which then turns into showing ALLL the versions of the turtles [only images...if they showed clips of the live action turtle movies ...I think I would have some sort of fangirl fit spazz or something] then they go waaaay back to the origin of the turtles!...just so f*cking awesome *face still amazed from movie.* I only wish my brother was here to watch it with me it would of been so cool and I would of converted it to a dvd format so we could watch it on the big screen. Come back from Canadaaaa brooo

but mannn the 80s cartoon turtles were so cuuute~ With their silly 80s antics and Raph talking to the 4th wall hahahahahah then they kept giving the Mirage studios turtles noogies ah mannn so awesome. I miss those good ol days watching turtles with my bro and playing the turtles in time game overrr and overrr again! Still dont know why we didnt buy it..but then again we hired it enough from the video store to make it seem like we owned it lol [why it is not available on wii shop is beyond me >_<] My brother is more into TMNT then I am but I'm still a fan~ which is why I wish I could of watched it with my bro and then had a fan spazz out afterwards.. *sighhh* ;_; Once this movie hits dvd/bluray. IT'S BOUGHT!

Ok onto the real journal now hahhaah

Well as some of you may know last weekend was the Madman National Cosplay Competition in bipolar-weather Melbourne! The flight done was easy and met with at the airport since she flew from the Gold Coast. Conquered my fear of taxi's and big boxes [since after the US trip I've been paranoid about problems], the first cab driver was freaking useless but we did get a cab over to the hotel. We got there pretty early because we didnt see other people arriving until we were eating dinner. Oh yes the dinner hahahah Since the hotel was a bit prestigious there was a catch with the food. We went to the restuarant thats part of the hotel and asked what the meals were. There was a Seafood buffet which started at ..$60.. each..hahahahah oh if you were to see my expression change it would of been hilarious. " ...." So we went to the Bar and got ourselves some pizzas heheh. The hotel was really nice though~ Beautiful architecture and lighting at night~ Perfect setting for Kos-Mos~ If only I had time for a night shoot ;_;

Anyway I'm starting to ramble now, back to the important stuff. lol

So the Saturday~ Saw everyones FREAKING AWESOME AMAZING OUTFITS!! omg I was just in awe~ and Jenita [get a dA Jenita! lol] You guys were beyond epic!!! Love you all~~
I'll talk a little bit about the day before I ramble about the performances lol
My Kos-Mos costume held up pretty well, the arm pieces had a few dramas because the 9V batt was weighing them out funny so the glu loosened and made one for off but then i just super glued them both down so they definately wouldnt fall off again lol. My arse got many comments lol John even made a song about it hahahah ah man you guys~ You should of seen what that bodice looks like with out the skirt panel hahaha soooo high cut hahahahah Well I caught up with some friends and met some new people in the store area. Very nice to meet you all~

Well it finally came to the skits for the contest~ Absolutely AMAZING! I loved them all~ Huge applause to everyone to their huge amounts of effort with their outfits and performances! [Skits can be seen from here-> [link] ] And a HUUUUGE CONGRATS to the Winner Christie !!! Much, much deserving winner~ I loved it! And a much deserving 2nd and 3rd place to and Much awesomeness~ I came 4th in the comp but I'm not too fussed I'll just have to try harder with my skit performance next time [though I have no idea when I'm going to enter again lol I'll have to wait til I know what I'm doing next year.]

Egadz! My journal is going pretty long D: and I've already cut out things lol ah mannn hahaha

Anywayz! Had an AWESOME after party! Super big thanks to for orginising not only the MNCC but the after party dinner~

I'm trying to cut it short now because I really have to get back to this personal project of mine which is very important. I might edit it later to add more stuff [probably to fix typos] but for now I really got to head off.

Another big congrats to Christie~ and to everyone who entered~ Your costumes were just beautifully made and you should be all proud of yourselves~
