Heyo,

I thought I would make a quick entry before I start my 2nd year at NIDA.

Well my big break off has been very relaxing. Maybe 'too' relaxing...I hope I can remember all last years lessons...lol I need to do a bit of revision work before I start. I kind of wish I took better notes at the start of 1st year. I really wasnt used to being a vivid notetaker. hurghhh I glare are my early term self  )=<  

I caught up with my family and some very good friends of mine when I went back up to QLD. I really enjoyed my time up there. Made me realise how much I missed everyone. This year I will be going up to Brisbane more often rather then waiting til the end of the year to go up. It was much too hard on myself to be away from my family and close friends for that long. My first return date is for my birthday which is when I missed my friends when I didnt have them at last years birthday. I did have my busterman with me of course but having friends and family there makes it more special.

I got some very special Christmas presents, one of them being the 'Dressing a Galaxy' Limited edition book with bonus fabric samples and dvd. My Busterman bought that for me and had been searching the world for it. I've always wanted the book but to get the Limited edition version was mind blowing! I love my Busterman He also got me a authentic pair of RayBans and a necklace with a little sterling silver duck pendent Also got from my brother the SG-1 full boxset Lots to read and watch. Got some nice clothing articles from my parents as well Many beautiful and touching presents~

I finished Final Fantasy XIII and Transformers War of Cybertron over my break. I was hoping to get into Starcraft 2 but I wasnt able to get a PC to play it on. Ah well it'll be alright until then. I 'might' be able to play it in low settings when I get a new laptop.

So 2nd year is ahead of me now, I get to make real garments this year. Not that last years werent real lol These dresses will be more 'real' in the sense that they will be finished garments that will be fitted to someone and made with real fabrics that I have chosen. This year is all about portfolio work so I got to give it my all as these will be my featured garments for my portfolio. 3rd year I only get to make 1 or 2 garments that are based on my research project. Which is going to be exciting, I cant waiiiit~~~

Anyway~ Not much to say other than, yes it will be another year of very minimal to no uploads from me because of my Degree but I'll still be watching others work~ And I'm still here so dont think I'm gone just yet
